The Lodestar® is available with several options which meet the BGV C1 German regulations for entertainment rigging. Designed to interface with the CM ProCommander control system.

• Double brake - Double DC brake with 50 millisecond delay between first and second brake for reduced stress loading during operation and easy identification of any problems with the first brake. Designed to easily isolate brakes for individual inspection
• Limit switches - dual semi-adjustable limit switches with visible LED, to warn when emergency limits are operated. Emergency secondary limit switch operation triggers mainline contactor in controller to shut the entire system down
• Electronic underload & overload protection - fitted with integral load monitoring components to warn when a dangerous overload or slack chain situation occurs. Can be used to provide accurate real-time loading information when used in conjunction with the CM ProCommander hoist control system models Pro-FL and Pro-V
• Controls - fitted with industrial grade Mitsubishi programmable logic controller for management of all integral safety features and communication with external control devices
• Load chain - zinc plated load chain protects against corrosion
• Encoder -fitted with high resolution encoder for accurate positioning information feedback to computerised control system
• Black powder coated finish - For low visibility and durability
• Identification - auto calibration and hoist type identification when used in conjunction with the CM ProCommander hoist control system models Pro-FL and Pro-V
