OctoScene is a standalone DMX signal record source which can be used as a backup. Device works in one DMX universe. There is a possibility to record 8 static scenes, which can be played one by one, or several at a time. OctoScene has got two DMX inputs- the first is a priority input (IN1) and the second is a summing input (IN2). IN1 works as a passthrough input, but at the same time OctoScene works as a backup- if input IN1 has lost DMX signal, device starts to play DMX signals pre-recorded scenes. If the DMX cable is connected in the second input (IN2), then DMX output (OUT) receives passes merged signal forward of the activated scenes from the DMX input IN2 and pre-recorded scene on OctoScene.
